About Kiuchi Farm
Kiuchi Farm is an agricultural production corporation located in Inashiki City in the south of Ibaraki Prefecture. We cultivate rice, wheat, and soybeans on farmland entrusted to us by local residents.
Our fields lie in a water-rich region between the Tone River—one of Japan’s three largest rivers—and Lake Kasumigaura. Thanks to its abundant water, fertile soil, and mild climate, this area has been known since the Edo period as one of the Kanto region’s leading rice-producing areas.
At Kiuchi Farm, we are committed not only to providing safe, reliable agricultural products but also to practicing sustainable farming that is considerate of both people and the environment. We manage our farmland with care so it can be confidently passed on to the next generation, and we contribute to our local community through agriculture.

About Kiuchi Rice
At Kiuchi Farm, we handle every process ourselves—from cultivation to shipping. Each grain of rice is carefully grown under our watchful eyes, from seed sowing to harvest, to be delivered directly from our farm to our customers.
After harvesting, our state-of-the-art machinery removes foreign matter and the outer husk (hull) to produce brown rice. The rice is stored in our own facilities to ensure that temperature and moisture are maintained at optimal levels.
We are deeply committed to preserving the natural flavor of our rice. It is stored under controlled conditions and milled to order, allowing customers to enjoy freshly milled rice at home, which is noticeably fresher than store-bought rice. Only rice graded as first-class through official inspection is selected as Kiuchi Rice.

Delicious Rice
Kiuchi Farm grows five premium varieties—Akitakomachi, Fukumaru, Nijinokirameki, Milky Queen, and Koshihikari—under the brand Kiuchi Rice. Even though these varieties are all grown in the same local climate and soil, each has its own unique character—sweetness, stickiness, grain size, and aroma. All are grown and milled entirely in-house with no blending or additives, allowing you to fully experience the distinct flavor of each variety.

Message from the President
I want to deliver rice that is ordinary yet special directly from our farm.
I began farming rice at the age of 45 after working in a completely different industry.
Through this experience I came to truly appreciate just how important rice is in the daily lives of Japanese people.
Even though consumption has declined, rice remains the food we Japanese eat most often.
But when you think about it, being able to eat ordinary rice is actually something very special.
With abnormal weather, pandemics, and more farmers leaving the industry, continuing to grow rice that people can eat as part of their everyday lives certainly has its challenges.
That’s why we at Kiuchi Farm will keep growing rice for the people who support us—not overextending ourselves, but continuing to grow and deliver the rice that belongs in our lives.

To produce rice every year that we can proudly offer to our customers
To deliver rice of consistent quality
To contribute to the health and well-being of our customers
THE DAILY LIFE ,THE DAILY RICE
